Hey everybody!! It's been a really long time. It's time for me to provide another money saving tip! Today's tip is to about saving money in college. I'm in college, and money is very important. Decisions become very hard. Food is a way that a lot of money can go down the drain. A good way to curb this is to stop buying bottled drinks, and use a recyclable water bottle to refill. A poweraid drink a day could quickly add up to $8 a week. Switching on and off between eating canned foods like Beefaroni from Kroger and Ramen Noodles to eating at the dining hall can save a considerable amount. Why not switch it up? That way you can really appreciate eating at the dining hall when the time comes. Another important thing is to do the same with activities. Instead of going to everything, decide between something like bowling, or seeing a movie. Some activities might be free in different locations. For instance here, I could play ping pong for $1.25 an hour in one place, but there are free tables I can play at elsewhere on campus. In this manner, everything can be "This or that" or neither. Suddenly you will have more of a conscious when it comes to spending, rather than just going out all the time and splurging with friends. Goodluck!!
