Hey again everyone! Today's tip is to save more money when you and your family eat out! Often times, families with five or more people will spend $50 or more on dinner every week when they eat out. To cut down on costs each week, if your entire family does not order drinks but gets water, that already saves nearly $8 on the meal! Furthermore, a great option is www.restaurant.com. At this site, you can buy gift cards to restaurants for as low prices as $2! It is great because not only can you use these gift cards as gifts for other people, but you can spend them on yourselves! The only catch is that you have to spend a certain amount with the gift card. My family will often buy a $25 gift certificate for $4, and then spend a minimum $40, totaling $44, but then -$25 and you only spend $19! Add the tip and you get a $25 price for dining out at a nice restaurant and ordering appetizers and desserts for a family of 4.
Use search and win sites! Yes, there are real sites online where you can make money! These are called search and win sites, on which you use their search engine, and you can build up points toward prizes and gift cards just by searching, voting, completing special offers and referring others! Swagbucks is a great one, and you can sign up at www.swagbucks.com/refer/brandonb to earn great prizes. I have been a member since May 2009, and have earned nearly $110 in amazon gift cards and a free t-shirt. It may not seem like much, but compared to using google and earning nothing, it is awesome! Another good site is Irazoo, where you can search and refer others to earn points toward prizes: especially amazon gift cards! If you don't believe there is any way that it is possible to get free stuff off the internet, I have pictures of free items I have ordered from amazon and the t shirt I received on the other page.
At frugalppl.com, you can check out FREE tips on how to save money and how to earn awesome PRIZES and MONEY from the internet! I will be posting tips every so often so keep coming back for more!!
The first tip, is to use coupons at local stores, especially grocery stores!! Simply clip coupons that come in the mail or in a newspaper for products you often buy, and then look for doubling or tripling coupon days to save plenty! Once my family and I used nearly 10 coupons on a doubling day, and saved nearly $30 at Shoppers!
